Swiss Fondue

A tasty fondue recipe that's sure to please.

Ingredients

* 1 garlic clove, halved
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch
* 1 c dry white wine
* 8 oz Gruyere, diced
* 8 oz Emmenthaler, diced
*3 Tbsp Kirsch (optional)
* White pepper to taste
* 1 French Bread, cubed

Directions

1. Rub cut side of garlic around inside of a heavy sauce pan.
2. Blend cornstarch with a little of the wine.
3. Pour the remaining wine into the sauce pan and bring to a boil.
4. Turn down the heat, add the cheeses, and stir until melted and blended.
5. Add cornstarch mixture, white pepper, and cook, constantly stirring until the mixture is creamy.
6. Stir in Kirsch (Optional)
Note: DO NOT BOIL!
